The iLiad is not merely about reading… it is about writing too. Thanks to the integrated Wacom Penabled technology you can use the stylus to make notes, underline text and write comments in documents do your favorite crossword or Sudoku puzzles or even sketches and draw.

The stylus can also be used to quickly and easily navigate your way through the iLiad menu and your documents with a whole library at the tip of your stylus.

 

A perfect fit

Thanks to its compact and lightweight design the iLiad can easily fit into any reading style. Whether it’s reading the newspaper in the subway on the way to work or some late night reading in bed that you are into, the iLiad will fit your reading habits.

With all the stuff you can do on the iLiad you may never want to stop using it. Fortunately, your iLiad will allow you to read and write for up to 15 hours* without recharging the battery. This means the pages keep on turning whether you’re reading your newspaper at breakfast, catching up on your selection of RSS feeds over lunch, making notes during your business meetings or reading a few chapters of your latest novel, the iLiad might just outlast you.

A book or a library ?

How much can your bag hold? That’s up to you and your iLiad. It can hold up to dozen books, newspapers or comic strips and if that is not enough you can extend it easily to hold up to 4 Gigabyte of data with a MMC or CF card.

You no longer need to agonize about which book you'd like to take with you, just take them all and decide later. With the iLiad you virtually have a small library at your disposal.

 

Hook up…

The built-in wireless capability of the iLiad will keep you connected and up to date. Using the network wizard you can locate and connect to available wireless networks to make sure you stay connected anywhere you go. What if no wireless network is available? Don't worry; the compact travel hub has a built-in Ethernet card that will hook you up with any wired network.

The first step to get the most out of the iLiad is to create a free MyiRex account. This will allow you to download and share your documents with friends and colleagues. Whether it's your daily newspaper you wish to download or share notes you've just made of a meeting with a colleague, simply press connect and you’re half way there.

But that’s not the best part, each account also gives you free access to the latest software releases. Not only will these software releases make your iLiad run more smoothly and keep it bug-free, they will also add new features and functionalities to the iLiad, so you always have something new to look forward to when pressing the connect button.

 

Synchronize Wirelessly

Your iLiad syncs seamlessly with your computer thanks to the iLiad Companion Software even wireless. Suppose you are reading a book on your iLiad in the living room, while your computer is in your office. The iLiad Companion software brings them together using the built-in 802.11B/G wireless capability of the iLiad and your existing network. Your newspapers, books, RSS feeds and documents are synchronized automatically with your iLiad.
