The iLiad 2nd edition features a fully redesigned backside that looks more elegant and also provides more stability when the iLiad is laying on a surface. It is not just the outside that looks different. On the inside the new casing offers better support to the display and electronics, reducing the risk of breakage.

With a new battery that holds almost 20% more power the new iLiad allows you to enjoy your favorite books, newspapers and documents even longer. Together with the new backside of the iLiad, the travel hub has also been redesigned. It is now smaller and lighter, so it can be easily taken along.

More than just a device

The iLiad 2nd edition comes with the latest software version 2.11. This version of the software is part of the continuous software updates that are offered to all iLiad users. Just like in the previous versions support for reading PDF, HTML, Text and Mobipocket files is included and with the complementary PC Companion Software you can easily convert almost any document on your PC to an iLiad readable format.

Taking notes and annotating PDF documents was already part of the iLiad software, but version 2.11 provides a huge improvement when it comes to accuracy. The stylus calibration option allows you to set the position of the stylus on the display.

As you may know, connecting to a wireless network can sometimes be difficult. With the new connection manager on the iLiad is not longer necessary to search for a network. Instead you can just select any of the available networks and connect.

The new iLiad is available from September 14 onwards via the iRex Shop and any of these local online shops.
