Customer Service Manager

is responsible for both service creation and service fulfillment. As a Customer Service Manager for IREX, your main task will be to (re)design as well as implement and execute the IREX Service and Customer Care policies worldwide. You will coordinate the existing (external) call- and repair center(s) and will work closely with regional Sales Management and other departments to optimize customer satisfaction. You will analyze, develop and implement procedural and structural improvements and assure compliance with IREX’ current policies, procedures and guidelines. You are responsible for the training and performance of the Customer Service Team, handling escalations and functioning as the primary contact for members of the team.

Responsibilities

Define the service strategy and roadmap
Work with external third parties for fulfillment of customer service activities
Be passionate with customer satisfaction
Develop the core positioning and messaging for the service
Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
Propose an overall budget to ensure success
Brief and train the service force
Act as a leader within the company

Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Service Manager
Demonstrated success defining and implementing customer service processes
5+ years of experience in a job in the Consumer Electronics market
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
Technical background/affinity
Excellent teamwork skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

ICT Assistant

who is responsible for supporting the ICT Manager with implementing the company’s ICT strategy and meeting the set ICT objectives. The work focuses on describing and implementing business processes, building interfaces between internal and externally hosted systems and supporting and training colleagues using the back-office tools. Documenting all relevant processes and protocols is also a key activity. You will team up with major vendors, electronic manufacturing services sites, logistic and retail networks in Europe, United States and Asia. IREX uses NetSuite ERP and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

Analyze & define (new) business processes and procedures
Optimize existing business processes
Draw-up file exchange and web services based communication protocols
Test and report results of implementations internally and at sub-contractors and suppliers
Carry out feasibility studies on new functionalities, systems and tools

Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years experience as an ICT Assistant
Analytical skills
5+ years of experience in a job in a (Consumer Electronics) logistics and/or production environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
BA Computer Science or proven suitability for the job
Knowledge of XML and communication protocols
Excellent teamwork skills
Service mindset

C++ Software Developer

who can extend the functionality of our main Digital Reader platform from which consumer products are derived. Our application framework is written in C and C++ and based on open source components like X-server, GTK, D-BUS and HAL. Your main responsibility will be to work on our C++ document viewer framework running on top of these open source components.

Responsibilities

Extend C++ document viewer framework with new functionality and to support more document formats
Optimize existing software components for better performance
Carry out feasibility study on new functionalities and tools

Requirements

BA/MA Computer Science
2-5 years of working experience in Software Development projects
In-depth knowledge of C and especially C++
Some experience in working on Linux OS
Experience in software development for Linux is a big plus
Excellent English communication skills
Flexible team player

Server Software Developer

To extend the current group of engineers that build content distribution applications so that content from a publisher can be delivered to our Electronic Paper Devices.

Responsibilities

Develop functional building blocks for content processing and delivery in Python
Develop web based user interfaces for system administration
Server installation and maintenance

Requirements

Several years of experience in Python programming
Experience in PHP programming
Experience in programming for Linux or FreeBSD systems
Experience with programming and customizing CMS-like websites
Knowledge of dealing with cross platform / browser compatibility issues
Knowledge XHTML, CSS and Javascript
Basic knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Basic knowledge in administration of Linux and FreeBSD server

Test Engineer Embedded Software

Our current embedded software framework is built on top of standard Linux Open Source solutions. You will design and develop/implement a test framework which consists of both hardware and software to work towards fully automated functional testing of our Digital Reader product. You will take the lead in working with the current Embedded Software team members to design for test, write unit tests and write tests for the framework.

Requirements

BA/MA Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
At least 3 years of working experience in Software Testing
In-depth knowledge of test tools and practices
In-depth knowledge of C and Unix scripting languages
Knowledge of low-level protocols like I2C
Excellent English communication skills
Flexible team player

The following skills are a considered a plus:

Experience with programming 8-bit micro processors and VHDL
Experience with NI-DAQ
Hands-on experience with soldering iron, multimeter and oscilloscope
